7 day Detox

Day 1 Fruits only! can use frozen for shakes no sugar added juices. I would skip juices all together unless you have a juicer or get fresh juice somewhere also can use coconut water or water kefir for smoothies.
(the idea with just fruit is that fruit is a simple carb that takes very little effort for the digestives system to digest but still always you to eat something. If this is to much sugar for your blood you can either just do veggies or you can try to just do the water drink listed below and tea.
Day 2 Fruit is allowed in the morning but just veggies after that. Try to start really cutting back on the fruit and focus on your veggies. Have a shake or a salad or steam them slightly. Veggies do not include starchy veggies such as potatoes on this day.
Day 3 same as day 2 until dinner. add sweet potato for dinner
Day 4 goodbye fruit hello eggs and bone broth soup along with veggies. The diet changes here and you start to eat more food but you no more fruit. I would suggest looking at the 20 foods for detox site and add some of the veggies to your soup such as; cabbage, ginger, garlic, kale, seaweed all taste great in a soup. Make the soup on one of the first 3 days so that it is ready by day 4.
Day 5 eggs, bone broth, and veggies. So day five is the same as 4:)
Day 6 Day six is the same as 5 and 4 but you get to add some MEAT!!! Add fish for dinner or chicken if you do not like fish.
Day 7 Day seven is the same as 6 with the exception of being able to add in red meat.
Day 8 0r Day 1 I suggest that you continue to add healthy nutrient dense foods into your diet. So start to add in some good grains like brown rice or quinoa or faro, along with fruits and nuts. if you want to add in dairy start to do so slowly!!! Maybe wait till the 2nd or third day after the detox.
Rules for detoxing Lemon, cayenne, honey, and ginger water in the morning as well as trying to find a good detox tea
Olive oil and salt only for cooking along with fresh herbs
No alcohol....No grains or dairy......No Sugar.....No caffeine
Try to stick with the dirty dozen/clean 15 for produce and look for low glycemic fruits and veggies.
Exercise daily, drink plenty of water and you can drink caffeine free tea as well.
Apple cider vinegar, aloe vera juice, and taking live enzymes also help with healthy bacteria and with the digestive system. Check out your local health food store for detoxing aids and teas.
There are other ways to help with detoxing, such as: dry brushing, epson salt bath, hot and cold water therapy, massage, sweating, jumping and so. Maybe pick one to try out:)
I just bought a rebounder and I have been using a dry brush before showering. Also Hot yoga;) if you want to give that a try then call me!!!
Most people tend to lose weight during detoxing but if you are one of the few and far between worried about loosing weight make sure to eat bigger portions and also add in some nuts (nut butters are a good way to go) or more eggs.
